What is an adverse event ?
An adverse event is any unintended medical occurrence in a patient who has been administered a pharmaceutical product. This may or may not be directly related to the treatment. Adverse events can include any unfavourable and unintended sign, symptom, or medical condition associated with the use of the product.
Why report adverse events ?
Reporting adverse events related to Trinity Pharma products helps us continuously monitor the safety of our medicines and protect patient wellbeing. The information you provide also enables Trinity Pharma to meet its regulatory and reporting obligations to health authorities, which require the collection and submission of adverse event data – even when a direct relationship between the product and the reported event has not been confirmed.
If you, or the individual on whose behalf you are reporting, are currently experiencing adverse events, please seek immediate medical advice from a doctor or other qualified healthcare professional before submitting an adverse event report.
